Loveth Besamoh

Loveth Besamoh is a producer and songwriter from Rotterdam with roots in Cameroon. His musical journey began at a young age, playing percussion in church and at boarding school. He still carries that rhythmic basis with him, interwoven in a sound that navigates between new wave, krautpunk and an eclectic mix of electronica, afro rock, jazz, post-punk and soul. His music is steeped in psychedelic textures and quirky twists, in which his origins always resonate. What started as a solo project grew into a four-piece live band with which Loveth takes to the stage. Live, his music is even more dynamic: from introspective sounds à la King Krule to the explosive energy of Death Grips. Loveth Besamoh is not an artist who allows himself to be pinned down.
