Fernanda Silveira leads a weekly Choro jam in the front room of Barbès featuring Regional Samauma and special guests. It is a casual gathering of virtuosos dedicated to the Brazilian musical tradition. Fernanda Silveira is a master of the cavaquinho, specializing in choro and traditional samba. A disciple of Luciana Rabello, she has performed alongside prominent artists such as Maurício Carrilho, Yamandu Costa, and Zé Barbeiro.
