Foreign Humor Artist Showcase

The second edition of the Foreign Humor Artist Showcase is happening in Control. A record label with an in-house studio takes its productions on stage. Seven of the newest rock bands (alternative, classic rock, hyperpop, post-punk, midwest emo, grunge, metal) in town will be heard in club Control on April 1. Keeping music cool since 2022 is the motto of Foreign Humor Productions (4h, in short). 4h is owned and run by Matei Tibacu-Blendea in Bucharest. He has over 25 years of experience in the music field. Four bands will play live, each releasing new material on that day. Three other artists that also have new material (singles and videos) will serve as DJs with a booth opposite the stage, where they play their new stuff as well as what influenced them. Some of the ticket proceeds will be donated to P.A.V.E.L., a volunteer organization out of Bucharest that takes care of children diagnosed with cancer, in memory of Matei’s Mother, who also volunteered there in her final year on Earth. Doing sound for all the bands is a special guest from Canterbury, UK: Jonn Roscoe.
