Their sound draws from the early catalogues of Stax, Sun, and Atlantic records, mixed with the raw quality of Alan Lomax field recordings. The band features three principal songwriters—Sam Doores, Riley Downing, and Cameron Snyder—who lead the ensemble's stripped-down and authentic musical direction.
