A homegrown, underground jazz night.
The Elsa Mouratidou Sextet presents 'Epsilon & Theta', a musical exploration of love and the fear of death as found in traditional folk music. The performance blends Greek traditions with minimalist textures, experimental jazz, and influences from neighboring cultures. Through the ancient sound of the human voice, the group connects the past with the present and future, honoring the lyrics of anonymous folk poets and simple traditional musical motifs. The event is supported by the University of Thessaly and the Synola Musical Ensembles.
