A nostalgic, underground classical night.
One of Europe's leading young string quartets, the Fibonacci Quartet, performs a lunchtime program featuring works by Haydn, Debussy, and Gershwin. As the first ensemble to win both the First and Audience Prize at the 2024 Premio Paolo Borciani International String Quartet Competition, they hold prestigious residencies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music. The performance includes Haydn's 'The Lark' quartet and Debussy's String Quartet in G minor, concluding with an original arrangement of Gershwin's 'I Got Rhythm'.
