London-based saxophonist Leo Richardson presents his high-octane quartet performing entirely original music, firmly rooted in the hard bop tradition and shaped by a contemporary sensibility. Inspired by the hard bop and post-bop eras of jazz, the band's music combines strong melodies, dynamic interplay and a modern edge. Known for his powerful sound and melodic clarity, Richardson leads a quartet with a distinctive collective identity and an energetic live presence. Regular performers at Ronnie Scott's Late Late Show, the band returns with new material ahead of their forthcoming album alongside music from their acclaimed release Move.
