Behind the band's name lies a quartet of four exquisite Berlin jazz musicians. The master drummer Torsten Zwingenberger is at home in both jazz and swing, and is also known as a blues and boogie-woogie accompanist. The ensemble performs a blend of modern swing, hard bop, cool jazz, Brazilian sounds, and funky soul jazz. Their repertoire includes both American Songbook classics and original compositions by the group members.
