The Fray are an American pop rock band from Denver, Colorado. Originally formed in 2002 by Isaac Slade and Joe King, the band gained international recognition for their soul-searching songwriting and inventive alternative rock sound. Known for hits like "How To Save A Life," which became a major cultural touchstone, they have earned multiple Grammy nominations and Billboard success. Their music is celebrated for its melodic richness and eloquent narratives. Dashboard Confessional, fronted by Chris Carrabba, is a prominent American emo and acoustic rock group that emerged in 1999. Initially a solo project, it evolved into a full band that helped define the emo genre in the early 2000s. Their breakthrough MTV Unplugged 2.0 session achieved platinum status, and the band has consistently charted high on the Billboard 200 with albums like "A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar" and "Dusk and Summer."
