Dengue Fever is an American-based psychedelic-infused Cambodian rock sextet formed in 2001 and led by the vocal talent of Chhom Nimol. Inspired by a trip to Cambodia, organist Ethan Holtzman formed the group to celebrate 1960s Cambodian rock music. The band's lineup includes Ethan and Zac Holtzman, Chhom Nimol, bassist Senon Williams, drummer Paul Smith, and brass player David Ralicke. Since their debut in 2003, the band has released several studio albums and EPs, gaining a significant following for their unique sound that blends traditional Khmer vocals with western rock and jazz influences. They have also been featured in soundtracks and documentaries, expanding their reach internationally.
