Deeply influenced by early jazz records by King Oliver, Jelly Roll Morton, and Louis Armstrong, this Amsterdam and Paris-based ensemble brings a youthful and virtuosic twist to the classic jazz genre. The performance focuses on the works of jazz pioneer Jelly Roll Morton, blending well-known classics with rarer pieces to recreate the exciting atmosphere of 1920s jazz for a modern audience.
