Julieta Venegas

Julieta Venegas is a Mexican-American pop/rock singer-songwriter and producer who grew up in Tijuana. Her musical journey began with classical training in piano and cello before she transitioned into the Mexico City rock scene in the late 1990s. After initially working with a rock-oriented sound on her debut album Aqui and the Grammy-nominated follow-up Bueninvento, she found massive commercial success by embracing melodic pop arrangements on her third record, Sí. This evolution continued with the multi-platinum Limón y Sal, establishing her as a prominent figure in Spanish-speaking music across Spain and Latin America. Her career is marked by multiple Latin Grammy wins and a distinctive style often featuring her signature accordion and piano play.
