Toadies: The Charmer Tour
A nostalgic, gritty grunge night.
Toadies return with The Charmer, their eighth studio album and most visceral work to date. Recorded with the legendary Steve Albini, the album captures the Texas band's raw, Southern-tinged grunge with unfiltered immediacy. Formed in Fort Worth in 1989, Toadies blend influences from the Pixies and Talking Heads with old-school country and classic rock. Frontman Vaden Todd Lewis wrote the album during pandemic isolation as a reckoning with self-doubt. The record is released via Austin’s nonprofit label, Spaceflight Records.
