De Italiaanse cellist Giovanni Gnocchi voert twee werken uit met variaties op bekende thema's. Hij speelt variaties op Mozarts Ein Mädchen oder Weibchen en zijn eigen thema Une larme, waarin de cello zijn volledige bereik toont. Chu Yi-Bing brengt een eerbetoon aan Maurice Gendron met virtuoze bewerkingen van Chopin en Tsjaikovski. Daarnaast presenteren Leonard Elschenbroich en Alexei Grynyuk Beethovens vroege Tweede sonate, een werk dat zij eerder met succes op cd hebben uitgebracht.
