An underground, raw post-rock night.
RAGDAWL PRESENTS: Toendra + Helen Jewett + Crashing Toendra is an experimental noise/post-rock trio from Amsterdam, creating instrumental, atmospheric tracks characterized by noise, unconventional tunings, and high decibels. They strive for a balance between sonic beauty and sharpness. Helen Jewett combines shoegaze and post-punk with elements of folk, hardcore, and ambient. Their music features poetic lyrics exploring nostalgia and contemporary struggles set against intense, immersive soundscapes. Crashing is influenced by shoegaze and alt-rock pioneers like Dinosaur Jr. and My Bloody Valentine. Their sound is defined by echoing, intense hooks and pure deafening volume, with a strong focus on DIY culture.
