City Funk Orchestra brings together some of the UK's greatest musicians for a night of '70s soul and Philly funk. The performance features a two-hour dance-filled set covering classics from legends like Chaka Khan, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder, and Barry White. Known as the capital's premier funk and soul band, the group delivers an authentic sound from the golden era of the genre. Leading the vocals are Imaani, the longtime lead singer for Incognito, and Angelo Starr, brother of soul icon Edwin Starr. They are backed by a rhythm section featuring Nial Tompkins on guitar, Carl Hudson on keys, Matt Pegg on bass, and Geoff Dunn on drums.
