On Saturday March 21st, it's time for the second edition of Noxed Out. Winter is almost behind us, and the spring equinox marks the moment when daylight starts claiming more hours than darkness. You didn't think we would, but we made it through, so let's party! At OT301, we're gathering to let go of that winter depression and welcome what's coming: longer days, warmer winds, new energy. We'll start off the evening celebrating Newroz, the Kurdish new year tradition, with music and spoken word. Later on, we'll play soulful house tunes that match our solar anticipation, letting the season pull us forward into whatever it has in store. Nour Jordan & Gigs Nour Jordan delivers spoken word. Gigs is behind the turntables. Together they merge word art with funk and West Asian sounds into a tribute to Newroz. What Nour Jordan speaks, Gigs translates live into sound. Slinger Slinger is a DJ and vinyl collector with a deep-rooted love for dancefloor culture. Now based in Amsterdam, he spent formative years across Chicago, Detroit, and New York. He joins the dots between old-school house, underground disco, soul, dub, and boogie and blends it into warm, groove-driven sets Muchengeti & Teunis A b2b between former housemates, founded on a deep love for disco, boogie, early house and strange balearic dubs. Playing mostly vinyl, Muchengeti and Teunis are always on the lookout for tracks that bring out a maximum groove with minimal means. Amandla Amandla, DJ born and raised in Amsterdam, has always been driven by a teenage daydream of expressing herself through music. Her journey began with a diverse musical upbringing. Starting from soul, funk, house and wave, breakbeats and techno, she eventually found her true passion in electro, breakbeats, techno and house. From Amsterdam's underground scene to high-profile fashion events, Amandla's DJ talent has led her on an exciting journey.
