Fernanda Silveira leads a weekly Choro jam in the front room of Barbès with Regional Samauma and special guests. It is a casual affair featuring virtuoso musicians playing traditional Brazilian choro and samba. Fernanda Silveira is an accomplished cavaquinho player and a disciple of Luciana Rabello. She has collaborated with numerous notable artists including Maurício Carrilho, Yamandu Costa, and Zé Barbeiro.
