DakhaBrakha

The folk quartet DakhaBrakha was formed in 2004 at the Kyiv Center of Contemporary Art 'DAKH' by theater director Vladyslav Troitskyi. After experimenting with Ukrainian folk music, the band added different rhythms to their music. Accompanied by Indian, Arabic, African and Australian traditional instruments, the quartet's powerful and uncompromising vocal range creates a sound rooted in Ukrainian culture. In December 2024 the group will perform at our MAX!
