Reethaus invites you to a collective resting experience featuring ambient music from MSCTY_Studio and pioneering Japanese ambient pianist Yumiko Morioka. Inspired by the need for gentle, quiet spaces in our hurried urban lives, 'Music for Rest Rooms' was developed by MSCTY_Studio's James Greer and Nick Luscombe following their visit to Morioka’s home in the serene Oniishi region of Japan. The resulting performance blends field recordings and piano melodies, creating a soundscape designed for repose and mindful exploration in a space specially built for the occasion. This presentation is organized in collaboration with Slow Wonder and Sonic Minds.
