Freï Live at nachbar Amsterdam
A slow-burn, underground australian ambient night.
Freï returns to nachbar on April 25th and we’ve planned another special party - an antidote to King’s Day weekend. While the city drowns in orange, we invite you to escape frat bros for a royal FLINTA lineup. It’s a space to come, dance and remember that instead of warm beer, you can always be drinking a stunning cocktail in peace. For our fifth edition, we’re inviting Jennifer Loveless, a producer and DJ who is known for emotive, body-moving sets that blend house and techno, with a sound that balances warmth, nostalgia, and euphoria. Loveless is a leader in the queer dance community and has released acclaimed music on labels such as Planet Euphorique and Sex Tags UFO, earning recognition from Pitchfork and Mixmag. Known to many as a nightlife photographer, 36framez also brings a love for DJing and record collecting. Their record bag is filled with house in all its forms, from punchy rhythms with queer vocals to soulful grooves and playful curveballs. They've played across the Netherlands, including IsBurning, CLUB RAUM, Into The Woods and ADE. Closing out the night is a back-to-back set from Lola Edo and bebebad. Lola is a DJ who is central to Amsterdam’s queer nightlife; known for her sets that move fluidly between techno, acid, electro house, African bass and breaks, creating energetic and emotionally layered journeys on the dance floor. Playing alongside her is bebe bad - Freï co-founder and resident DJ. She blends bass-heavy UK roots with high-energy club cuts, moving effortlessly through genres. Bebebad has played everywhere from De School to Glastonbury, sharing line-ups with Ki/Ki, Bambounou, and more. We’ll see you on April 25th.
