Psychic Liberation is a New York-founded label currently operated from the EU by Nick Klein, featuring a concert series in the Kuppelhalle with changing guests. This evening features Andrea Pensado, HMOT, and bela. Andrea Pensado is an Argentinian-born sound artist and educator based in the USA, utilizing voice and hybrid electronics for intuitive improvisational performances. HMOT, the moniker of Sattar Stas Shärifulla, is a Basel-based composer and researcher exploring Northern and Central Asian autochthonous cultures using traditional instruments like the quray alongside computer music. bela is a South Korean musician and performance artist utilizing guttural vocals and feedback to explore acoustics and resonance.
