Asura is Charles Farewell, born in 1975. Originally a duo composed of Charles Farewell and Vincent Villuis aka AES Dana. Since 1996, the project Asura has polished a personal electronic universe sound, between trance psychedelic, ambient and world music. In 1998, Christopher Maze joins the band and in 2000, the first Asura album, Code Eternity, is released. Made by many influences, their music, built around electronic machines and acoustic instruments, does not remain about it less one personal and considered creation, centered on the perpetual search of infinite spaces and multiple origins. Monotonous melancholic lyrics, symphonic waves, fast and slow rhythms, heavy or throbbing, liturgical songs, the project Asura introduces a certain solemn vision of the world. They have created a very distinctive sound which has contributed to making Asura one of the most recognizable bands of the World Electro and Trance Ambient genre. In 2001, Vincent Villuis left the band to concentrate on his new project AES Dana and was replaced the same year by Alex Ackerman. The second album, “Lost Eden”, was released in 2003. Since July 2005, after the departure of Christopher Maze and Alex Ackerman, Asura became a solo project. exclusively composed by Charles Farewell. In July 2007, the third Asura album, [ Life² ], was released, followed by [ 360 ] in October 2010 and [ Radio Universe ] late 2014. Charles’ latest work on Altar Records (2017) titled “Atmosphere”. It is a beautiful album that seamlessly flows from one track to the next, with movement like a gentle organic spiral. ”Atmosphere” is musically weaved together of four previously unreleased tunes, along with some of the best recent compilation. Asura released his beautiful and emotional new Album ‚Renaissance‘ in July 2023. He is currently working on his new studio album, the 7th, that should be released in 2025, and on several compilations and collaborations. SUDUAYA Suduaya's journey transcends borders, spanning 4 continents and over 40 countries since 2011. From ethereal Downtempo to pulsating Psytrance, his beats have echoed at iconic festivals like Boom, HillTop, Rainbow Serpent, or Psy-Fi. After collaborating with legends like Kaya Project, Zyce or Ace Ventura, his 2021 album 'Starseeds' marked the birth of his own record label Arcelya Records. In 2022, 'SoulQuest' album emerged, and in 2023, the project had amassed 3.3 million Spotify plays across 174 countries. She studied Music Technology and Acoustics Engineering, Music Therapy and Digital Arts. She was always interested in how art affects on hypnotic and emotional states of human consciousness.
