Ben Harper is a versatile American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from California. He began his musical journey at a young age, influenced by a childhood spent in his grandparents' music store and early exposure to legends like Bob Marley and Robert Johnson. Known for his skilled slide guitar playing and a sound that blends blues, reggae, funk, soul, and folk, Harper has enjoyed a prolific career. He is widely recognized for his work with his longtime backing band, The Innocent Criminals, with whom he reunited in 2015 after a hiatus. Over the years, he has earned three Grammy Awards and collaborated with a diverse range of artists, cementing his reputation as a world-renowned musician.
