P60’s Radar

A new edition of P60's Radar! This time, a packed program featuring no fewer than three bands. Prepare to be surprised by (if you ask us) promising new talent during this spectacular evening. About W-Beaters W-Beaters is a young rock band from Amsterdam. Four completely different personalities who share one thing: making a racket live! For Kimon (vocals), Ysbrand (guitar), Valentin (bass), and Ted (drums), it's not just about the songs, but especially about the energy generated on stage and in the audience: "We play rock the way we think it should be played: raw, dynamic, and always with complete dedication. Music you feel, and a show where everything revolves around the performance. On stage, these four different personalities merge into one explosive whole—and we want to share that energy with everyone who stands before us. We're really looking forward to P60!" About 2SD 2SD is an Amsterdam pop-rock band formed in early 2023. It started as a fun pastime among friends, but after their first time on stage—at their school's end-of-year party at Melkweg—they knew it had to be more than just fun. Inti Tabares Medina-Hogendijk (vocals), Kees van Voorst (lead guitar), Isobel van Kemenade (bass guitar), and Tiemo Jongsma (piano) joined forces with Mart Coesel (rhythm guitar) and Liam Rensmaag (drums) to make this dream a reality. They quickly transitioned from exclusively covering bands like ToTo, Kansas, and Oasis to creating their own material. During this process, they discovered a clash between their musical preferences. Instead of seeing this as a barrier, they found a way to navigate it and create the unique sound you hear today. About Common Sexuality From a long-held passion for performing classical pieces to producing electronic music. Imagine a combination of raw energy and experimental soundscapes, with emotionally charged vocals, distorted riffs, and dynamic rhythms. This balance of chaos and tranquility is what emanates from every Common Sexuality gathering. Since forming in early 2024, they've played over 15 shows filled with original, captivating songs. We can't wait to see what 2025 has in store for them. Some of our band members grew up in the region (Amsterdam and Amstelveen), and the rest now live nearby to study. The area's rich natural beauty inspires our music, and in the summer we often go out into nature to play music.
