Formed in Sacramento, California, in 2005, Dance Gavin Dance is a pioneering force in alternative music. Currently featuring Andrew Wells, Jon Mess, Will Swan, and Matthew Mingus, the band creates a unique blend of funk, metalcore, and post-hardcore with progressive song structures. With four albums reaching the Billboard 200 Top 15 and billions of streams, they are a major act in the modern music scene. Following a period of significant change and the loss of bassist Tim Feerick, their album Pantheon represents a revitalized return to their heavier, experimental roots. The work centers on themes of perseverance and the importance of creating art with trusted collaborators amidst life's challenges.
