Με αφορμή τη συμπλήρωση 200 ετών από την Έξοδο του Μεσολογγίου, η Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα και η Χορωδία του Δήμου Αθηναίων παρουσιάζουν το έργο του Γιάννη Μαρκόπουλου «Οι Ελεύθεροι Πολιορκημένοι», βασισμένο στην ποίηση του Διονυσίου Σολωμού. Η συναυλία πραγματοποιείται σε συμπαραγωγή με την Ένωση Επτανησίων Ελλάδας και σε συνεργασία με το ΔΗ.ΠΕ.ΘΕ. Κέρκυρας. Μουσική διεύθυνση Μύρωνας Μιχαηλίδης. Σε σκηνοθεσία του Πέτρου Γάλλια, η παράσταση αναδεικνύει το έργο του εθνικού μας ποιητή, αποτελώντας έναν σταθμό τιμής και μνήμης στον ελληνικό πολιτισμό.
