For Finn Wolfhard, music is an instinctual outlet for escape and expression. Following his 2025 solo debut Happy Birthday, his 2026 album Fire From The Hip marks a shift toward a broader, more collaborative sound. Inspired by the chemistry of his live shows and his move back to Vancouver, the record explores themes of nostalgia and the fluidity of identity. Recording on 24-track reel-to-reel tape, Wolfhard captured the energy of full-band live takes to create a collection of performances that feel immediate, analog, and connected.
