Built to Spill and Playdead
American indie rock band Built to Spill, led by Doug Martsch, performs alongside Playdead. Formed in 1992 in Boise, Idaho, Built to Spill became a staple of the 90s indie scene with Martsch’s distinctive guitar jamming style, intricate solos, and unconventional song structures. After finding underground success with early albums like "There's Nothing Wrong with Love," the band signed to Warner Bros. and released their critically acclaimed major label debut "Perfect from Now On" in 1997. Known for unpredictable live shows and lengthy jams, the band continues to be a defining force in the alternative rock genre.
