Annual late-December concert celebrating a new generation of musicians with the New York String Orchestra, led by conductor Michael Stern in his inaugural season. Featuring pianist Jeremy Denk performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4, alongside J. Strauss Jr.'s Overture to Die Fledermaus, Stravinsky's The Firebird Suite, and Valerie Coleman's Umoja arranged for string orchestra.
