A nostalgic, raw italian singer-songwriter night.
In 1987, singer-songwriter Pippo Pollina first took the stage in a small theater near Bern. Forty years later, the Sicilian musician reflects on an extraordinary career: 25 albums, over 200 songs, and approximately 5,000 concerts across three continents. He has collaborated with notable artists like Paolo Conte and Franco Battiato. His music centers on the Italian song, telling stories of joy or sorrow. In his latest project, Pollina presents a chamber music-inspired performance alongside a quartet featuring cello, piano, percussion, and woodwinds.
