Lenny Sprenger is a musician based in The Hague and Amsterdam. Having worked within a range of musical paradigms over the course of his music making career, his current practice revolves around developing strategies for combining these disparate approaches using techniques drawn from collage, musique concrète, and computer music. Within this practice, he is mainly concerned with fragmentation, re-contextualization, and ambiguity. Performing live since 2023 under the ⊥ (eet) moniker, in concerts Lenny applies these ideas in a setting of live improvisation. He juxtaposes many musical threads in a chaotic and disorienting fashion, aiming to create an experience that is irreducible. For this concert Lenny has prepared a special one-off a fungus tribute set. A fungus were as fond of melody as of tearing it apart at the seams. With their latest offering „Field Relief“, the four-poled Amsterdam troupe has vowed to stitch things back up, though. While their debut „It Already Does That“ saw them layer beauty and angst into a tapestry of contradictions, their second full-length melts these tensions into a wholly different sonic thing: it becomes one again. Firmament-filling guitar arrangements (if the skies were a pasture) meet careful optimism; nimble percussion, bits of synthesizer and piano serve as the backdrop for what reality could be once you close your eyes and let "it" creep up the back of your skull. Dear life, doomsday's off. In between the concerts, Zainab -- a lover of the heartfelt band-sound -- is the DJ.
