A special SUMMER Salón Sonoro CUMBIA edtion with the one and only Rolando Bruno bringing his full band to the Mez! A super bomb of tropical rhythm and fuzz guitar cumbia! From Buenos Aires Argentina – Rolando Bruno started playing and recording with his raw 60’s Garage Punk outfit Los Peyotes (dirty water records). Then he created the MIDI one man band, cutting old Cumbia Tracks together to make them them into Psychedelic Garage Beat Dance Monsters. Now performing with his full band, El Grupo Arevalo, bringing “CUMBIA TRASH” a rough and ready mix of Chicha from Peru, some 80s 90s Argentinian Cumbia & Psychedelic Rock. With visual inspiration from pop culture like UFO, street food and horror movies, all spun together into a wild mashup: Tropical dancing guaranteed!
