What distinguishes the Grammy winner and 7-time nominee as one of the best living house music deejays is his ability to evolve alongside the times, distill the current musical landscape through his unique taste and put his own timeless spin on all the music he creates. RON TRENT A perennial presence in music since the early 90's, Ron Trent pulls no punches! Considered to be one of the architects of the Chicago music scene, If there's one man who knows a thing or two about house music, it's Ron Trent. He has been at the forefront of the scene for over 30 years and few have had a career as illustrious as Trent has. With a discography that's longer than most producer's efforts combined, he isn't showing any signs of letting up. Few living DJs embody the spirit of Chicago like Ron Trent. CC:DISCO! DJ, radio host, curator, label head and party promoter - CC:DISCO! is hopelessly lost in music and there’s no turning back. Playing disco, house and boogie cuts with her heart at the controls, CC triggers a joyous feedback loop that infects the dancefloor. There’s no pretension, only pure feeling. OSUNLADE Easily one of the most gifted producers of soul/funk-influenced deep house, Osunlade - an ordained priest in the African religion of Ifa - graces everything he touches with spiritual, uplifting vibes. Osunlade’s music is pretty much all you want from house music: his masterful production melds together percussion patterns and melodic building blocks to create works of beauty. CINTHIE Berlin's Cinthie has grown to become one of the most revered and respected figures in contemporary electronic music in recent years both in her hometown and across the globe. As if her busy DJ touring schedule wasn't already enough , Cinthie is also a producer, founder of labels we_r house, 803 Crystal Grooves and its sub-label Collective Cuts, and the Elevate record store owner. Her unique DJ style and the depth of her musical knowledge has gained her recognition across the board from many of the legends she grew up listening to out of Chicago and Detroit, through to many other leading figures in today’s house and techno scene. OPTIMO After reaching a well-deserved cult status with their Optimo (Espacio) weekly Sunday-night parties at Sub Club in Glasgow, JD Twitch and JG Wilkes have continued to play, tour and release music under the Optimo name to keep the spirit of their hedonistic parties alive. REBECCA VASMANT Rebecca Vasmant is a bit of a Glasgow legend, up there with the best, she’s been doing her thing for quite some time now, never faltering on taste and never compromising her integrity. She sticks to her guns! With one of the most finely tuned ears in Glasgow, she focuses her attention on Jazz, House, Latin, Techno and just about everything else that lies in between them! Her sets have taken her to many of the coolest and most exciting clubs and festivals that Europe has to offer. Zakynthos is in for a treat! NICKODEMUS The much loved and ever-funky don of Wonderwheel Recordings, Nickodemus will once again be bringing some heat to Zakynthos! He creates & DJ's music from all parts of the World, rooted in Club Music from his upbringings in NYC, with a real tropical flare. The energy he physically brings to his sets combined with the cuban-afro-house vibes, make it impossible to stand still on his watch. ********* GETTING THERE ********* By plane, Zakynthos is served by one international airport (airport code ZTH), located towards the south end of the island near Zakynthos town, it caters for both international and domestic flights. By ship, Zakynthos has ferry links to Kyllini on the Greek mainland from Zakynthos Town. Ferry boats depart daily every hour and the trip lasts one hour.
