Nospray x V11 proudly present: Metdog + Fellatio Metdog (AUS) Imagine a love-baby between Devo, The Saints, Gary Numan and (sure, why not) AC/DC and if you get lucky you’ll end up with something like Metdog! They’re at least 35 years old (in dog years), hail from Melbourne, their music is best described as “big horny guitar sounds and yelly verses and choruses” (their words, not ours) and that’s about all we know about them. I think this quote from their bandcamp sums it up pretty nicely: “like life is really funny and fun but also serious and not fun aswell, it’s blurry and so so is this?” As all the cool kids used to say: bijzijn is meemaken! Fellatio (NL) Go to Google. Type in ‘Fellatio’. Click on ‘Images’ and… you’ll find nothing related to this eclectic three piece. Are they from Tilburg? Are they from Rotterdam? We don’t know! They make “avant-garde disco punk post-penis krautpop”. What does that mean? We honestly have no idea! Man, this is gonna be such a confusing evening! Does the frontman wear a cowboy hat? Yes! Why? Again, we don’t know! What we do know is that we’re very excited for this evening, as you should be too!
