Galliano

London formation Galliano is coming to Amsterdam! The group debuted in 1991 with their adaptation of a Curtis Mayfield song, at a time when a tidal wave of bands were emerging to shape the brand-new genre of acid jazz and make it their own. Great fame came to Galliano in 1992 with "The Plot Thickens", on which they merged extreme harmonies and jazz rhythms with urban soul. The band still releases new music, and they do so successfully: "Galliano hasn't lost his touch at all and releases one of his best songs ever," says Dancing Bears about latest single 'Circles Going Around The Sun'. The group is coming to our OZ hall on 9 December with a live performance!
