WHAMANIA! is a live concert with a self-produced documentary on a big screen as a tribute to WHAM! Not just WHAM! is honoured, but the exceptional friendship between George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley is also highlighted. A friendship that leads to successes such as Club Tropicana, Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, Freedom, Last Christmas, I'm Your Man, The Edge Of Heaven, but also George Michael's first solo successes: Careless Whisper and A Different Corner. WHAMANIA! is a 12-piece band that revives the glory years of George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley, including horns and the indispensable presence of Pepsi & Shirlie. Club Tropicana's full-length show marks the 40th anniversary of the band's debut album Fantastic, released on July 1, 1983 by WHAM! About WHAMANIA! George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley score with WHAM! a total of five #1 hits in England and four in the Netherlands, including two solo songs by George Michael. The role of George Michael will be played in WHAMANIA! performed by Jordan Roy, known for the TV programs Better Than Ever (with an emotional and moving performance), X-Factor (where he became runner-up with pop group Adlicious) and The Voice of Holland where he appeared in The Knock Outs the song The Edge of Heaven by WHAM! sang.
