This time we’re inviting familiar faces and new friends to curate the night with us: DJs, collectives and creatives from our circle and beyond. Rule #1: no shy people. High energy, good food, big sound! This time our second room (Dick & Dick) we will be working with Fervo Fluxo. Internationally-based underground Funk BR platform Fervo Fluxo makes its Amsterdam debut at Skatecafe, featuring special guests direct from Rio de Janeiro: Corvina da Penha and DJ Bia Marques, alongside Netherlands-based Brazilian DJ Galecta and resident Ant Fervo. Corvina da Penha is a defining figure in Brazilian funk. Raised in Penha, in Rio’s North Zone, he is the creator of the genre-defining anthem Aquecimento Gaiolagem, along with hits like Tropa do Menino Rei and Fritação Máxima. Joining him is fellow Carioca DJ Bia Marques, a longtime Fervo Fluxo resident and frequent presence on stages across Brazil and Europe. Also on the lineup is Galecta, a Brazilian DJ, producer, event organizer, and cultural curator rapidly emerging as one of Europe’s most compelling electronic artists. As the only Afro-Indigenous Brazilian woman DJ pushing Baile Funk into new territories, Galecta stands at the intersection of music and cultural activism, making her one of the most exciting Brazilian artists to watch in 2025.
