Alternate Takes: Sundown Recordings Takeover

At this events 3 acts will be presented as a NSRT x BIRD X TTNS X Sundown Recordings collaboration. A celebration of Jazz, Soul and HipHop music in the city of Rotterdam in the build-up to NSJ. The evening will be accessible to all partly due to the central located venue Time is the new space on the Hofplein side of the iconic Schieblok. But also the fact we all thrive because of the many cultures and genres that motivate, inspire and influence us in our art and craft. This program will be a part of The Alternate Take Series co-organized by BIRD for NSRT. The acts have an intrinsic connection, they share the same band members and because they share a mix of genre’s and blend them into their music and sounds in unique ways. Above all, of course, the shared love for Jazz music of all times, but especially of today, is paramount. With performances by NIA, MAIN and Mo Wright we journey into the sound of Sundown Recordings and the city of Rotterdam. A unique collaboration between the location and organizations also speaks to the continued pursuit of mutual goals and fortifying interconnections of the Rotterdam live music scene and nightlife culture.
