The indie rock band South Summit is making waves, so it’s no surprise they hail from the surf haven of Australia. The five-piece group from Perth crafts a unique, genre-defying sound that blends influences from rock, reggae, hip-hop, and classic rock. While their music radiates sunny vibes, they don’t shy away from melancholic cloud-rap influences or more heartfelt, emotional tracks. On December 6, 2024, South Summit released their highly anticipated debut album The Bliss, featuring the singles “Givin’ It Up,” “Ottoway,” “Catacombs,” and “Exceptional.” They also made a lasting impression with an unforgettable cover of “Roxanne” during their performance on Triple J’s Like A Version.
