Diamond West Showcase
An open-air, nostalgic retro soul night.
To celebrate the first four years of Diamond West Records, label founders Thomas Brenneck and Jared Tankel present a showcase featuring artists who embody the label's adventurous soul aesthetic. The evening includes a performance by Menahan Street Band, an exploratory soul and funk group known for their cinematic instrumentals and influential samples. Also performing are Rogê, a Latin Grammy nominee from Rio de Janeiro specializing in samba-funk, and The Sha La Das, a family doo-wop group whose vocal harmonies offer a timeless soul sound.
