Metal Molly
n 2025 it will be 30 years since 'Surgery for Zebra' was released, the debut album of Metal Molly with among others the Belpop classic 'Orange'. Metal Molly wants to celebrate that with a tour along festivals and clubs, in original line-up. About Metal Molly In 1997, the band was also busy working on a second album, but due to the pressure of success, the band went into a cold storage for a year. In 1999, they recorded 'The Golden Country', but quite a few songs didn't make it onto that album. Not because they were bad songs, but because the guys wanted to take a different musical path at the time of 'The Golden Country'. Pascal, Allan and Gino want to return to the bare essentials: the 'lost songs' are primal Metal Molly songs, with those sharp, angular and sometimes dissonant wannabe Nirvana meets the Beatles meets Weezer. Those songs will now be finished and released, a first single can be expected early 2025! At the same time, 'Surgery for Zebra' will be released as a reissue on vinyl.
