The Young Analogues Live at Melkweg Amsterdam
A high-energy rock night.
THE ANALOGUES PRESENT: THE YOUNG ANALOGUES A year and a half ago, The Analogues called it a day; ten years in which they brought The Beatles’ studio years fully to life. That evening, The Young Analogues were the support act. Four young musicians playing the early work of The Beatles. So good that many people asked: “Are they going to carry on as The Analogues?” That wasn’t the plan, but under the guidance of the ‘original Analogues’, The Young Analogues were given the chance to develop further. No fancy dress, but full dedication to the authentic sound – including the extensive collection of vintage instruments. During this show, they play material from before ’66. Less grandiose and orchestrated than the later work, but certainly featuring plenty of number one hits. The Analogues proudly present a new generation of Beatles interpreters. Because that’s what it was always about: keeping The Beatles alive!
