A raw, nostalgic chamber music night.
Cellist Laura van der Heijden, recipient of the Royal Philharmonic Society’s Instrumentalist of the Year Award in 2025, and pianist Jâms Coleman explore French repertoire from the Belle Époque. The program features works by Nadia Boulanger, Mel Bonis, and Charlotte Sohy—three women who navigated the male-dominated music world of the early 20th century—followed by César Franck’s celebrated Violin Sonata in its arrangement for cello.
