Havana D’Primera was founded by singer Alexander Abreu 20 years ago and is undoubtedly Cuba’s hottest salsa band. As a composer and arranger of the highest calibre, Alexander is responsible for many of the top hits of recent years in Cuba. It is not only his unmistakable voice that defines the sound of the 16-piece band – Alexander is also the outstanding trumpeter of his generation. Havana D’Primera is a must for all fans of salsa and Cuban music.
