A slow-burn, underground electronic night.
John-Foster-Dulles-Allee 10, 10557 Berlin, Germany
The Middle Ground project annually invites international literary festivals to Berlin to explore how stories are conceived and shared. In 2026, the festival partners with the Nepal Literature Festival to examine literary practice through the lens of "height," both as a physical location in the Himalayas and a metaphorical perspective. The program features workshops, readings, performances, and discussions that delve into experiences of transit, waiting, and resistance within the complex political and religious landscape of Nepal and the broader Himalayan region. The event brings these diverse routes into dialogue with other transit landscapes, inviting writers and audiences to engage with stories of life in the region.
