Visionaire Amerikaanse pianist bekend van zijn albums op Blue Note en ECM. Pianist en componist Aaron Parks maakte op 25-jarige leeftijd grote indruk met Invisible Cinema, zijn eerste eigen album op Blue Note na drie releases op dit legendarische label met trompettist Terence Blanchard. De BBC riep het uit tot een van de beste albums van het jaar en JazzTimes onthaalde hem als ‘nieuwe visionair’. In zijn band Little Big ligt de nadruk op pakkende, verhalende songs vol melodie en eigentijdse ritmes. De musici brengen niet alleen ervaring mee uit de jazz, maar ook uit de pop, r&b, indie rock en country. Aaron Parks heeft samengewerkt met onder anderen Kurt Rosenwinkel, Dhafer Youssef, Terri Lyne Carrington, Ambrose Akinmusire, Gretchen Parlato, Kendrick Scott en Marcus Miller. Hij gooide hoge ogen met twee albums op ECM: een solo-piano-album en een trio-album met Billy Hart and Ben Street. Hij is ook een van de oprichters van James Farm, de band met Joshua Redman, Matt Penman en Eric Harland. Met Little Big bracht hij drie albums uit, waarvan het meest recente verscheen op Blue Note.
