In diesem Klavierabend präsentiert Michelle Candotti ein anspruchsvolles Programm mit Werken der Romantik und Moderne. Der Abend umfasst Franz Liszts Ballade Nr. 2 h-Moll sowie seine Konzert-Paraphrase über Themen aus Verdis Oper „Ernani“. Zudem erklingen Béla Bartóks Klaviersonate Sz 80 und Frédéric Chopins Ballade F-Dur. Den Abschluss bilden Liszts „Harmonies du soir“ sowie die monumentale Dante-Sonate aus den „Années de pèlerinage“.
