Amsterdam Techno Sessions is a weekly Techno event held every Thursday in Amsterdam. Local and international artists are invited to showcase their work and share their personal interpretations of Techno every week. Tonight! Thursday, 07th May, 2026, we are back at John Doe for another special event. And for this one, we invited the Naked Lunch, head honcho, A.Paul to headline the night. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1971, A.Paul is one of the most respected names in international electronic music. Inspired early by disco, funk, and electro, he began DJing in the mid-1980s and quickly rose through Portugal underground scene thanks to his talent, technical skill, and distinctive sound. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, he became a leading force in Portuguese techno, holding major residencies, launching influential record labels, and earning multiple awards as Best Portuguese Techno DJ. As his reputation grew, he expanded internationally, performing at world-renowned festivals and clubs such as Awakenings, Nature One, Tresor, and Fabrik. Known for his hard-hitting grooves, deep basslines, and energetic performances, A.Paul continues to be a driving force in the global techno scene as a DJ, producer, label owner, and promoter. To top up the night, we also added the Japanese Dice, and the local heroes D.Noyse and Marco Ramos. Join us at John Doe from 23:00 until 04:00.
