The six edition of event where we celebrate African cultural heritage and diversity. It Began in Africa in OT301 showcasing an array of vibrant music, dancing, culture, sounds and rhythmic beats. We play a mix of Afrobeat, Soul and Highlife. Our instruments: percussion, guitar, vocals and drum loops. The songs and music of DUEGRO take you on a journey through the dark part of Africa. The rousing vocal rhythms and melodies of DUEGRO bring you into a trance, and it is therefore impossible to sit still. DUEGRO follows in the footsteps of great African music legends such as Fela Kuti, Osibisa, Mariam Makeba and Manu Dibango. Their influence on the music that DUEGRO plays is unmistakable. DUEGRO plays traditional and contemporary music and funk, and experiments with different instruments and styles. In addition to covers, we also play our own songs.
